A warm stage. A powerful ensemble. A night of colourful melodies, Mediterranean rhythm and togetherness.
Dance and sing along to folk classics from all over Greece. Get carried away by the singing voice of the violin, the soulful oud, the colourful bouzouki lines and the rhythms of the guitar and the double bass. From Rebetika to traditional folk songs from the islands and the mainland.
Social Waste, the socio-political hip-hop formation from Greece will be touring four European capitals in March 2026.
Social Waste are well known for their sharp lyrics and their blended mediterranean hip-hop music. A live hip-hop band, comprised of lutes, lyras, bagpipes, baglamas, and other musical instruments of the Mediterranean basin, with three rappers spitting socio-political rhymes on stage.
One of the most historic hip-hop bands in Greece, that gathers thousands of fans in their concerts, participates in activist talks about the socio-political dimension of hip-hop, has strong connections with social movements at home and abroad, and more than 25 years of presence in the Greek hip-hop scene.
They will present songs from their latest album Rebelde, as well as from their rich discography!

After 9 years Sokratis Malamas returns to Amsterdam once more! This time together with one of his favourite singers Ioulia Karaptaki and his talented son Giannis Malamas.
One of Greece’s most beloved singer-songwriters, brings to the stage an armory of songs drawn from his 40-year musical journey. Fearless in experimentation, Sokratis follows the energy and flow of the audience, shaping each performance in the moment and creating a unique live experience every time. Free from rules and fixed setlists, no two concerts are ever the same.
Sokratis Malamas invites the audience on a musical journey that moves seamlessly through Greek laïko, rock, and the finest traditions of Greek folk music.
