Tzimis Panousis is a unique Greek musician and stand-up comedian. Since his debut in the 70’s, he has introduced a controversial style of Rock music with humorous and sarcastic lyrics.
While his varied musical style includes mostly Rock it also includes Reggea and Rembetiko. His songs include critical remarks on the political and social situation in Greece as well as on other Greek musicians and personalities.
His music consist mostly of rock, but also reggae and Rembetiko. He often interacts with his audience, in a unique type of stand-up comedy, and is also notorious for his on-stage phone pranks.
Tzimis Panousis staat bekend om z’n aanstekelijke mix van Rock, Reggae en Rembetiko met grappige, satirische en sarcastische teksten waarbij hij de controverse niet schuwt.
De songs bevatten kritische opmerkingen over zowel de politieke en sociale realiteit in Griekenland als opmerkingen over andere Griekse muzikanten en bekende persoonlijkheden.
Sinds de jaren zeventig staat hij bekend om zijn komische en interactieve shows, met bijvoorbeeld de bekende stage phone pranks, die zorgen voor een uniek concert.
Tzimis Panousis est un chanteur-conferencier unique en Grèce. Depuis son début dans les annees ’70 il a développé un style très personnel et controversé dans le rock, avec ses paroles humoristiques et pleines de sarcasme.
Son répertoire se situe surtout dans le rock, mais des éléments reggae et rebétiko s’y retrouvent également.
Dans ses chansons il critique la situation sociale et politique en Grèce, en se moquant des musiciens grecs et des personnalités publiques.
Pendant ses concerts et conférences il communique beaucoup avec son public, ce qui lui donne un style unique de comédie stand-up.
Il est également devenu très connu par ses blagues railleuses par GSM sur scène.
